Display 3.
A Peckham townhouse rebuilt around its rear garden, with the kitchen set into a new beamed extension. Our brief was warmth without weight — a room that would hold the late afternoon sun.
The island is finished in a soft terracotta lacquer, capped with a single slab of honed white quartz and a flush induction zone. Wall cabinetry runs handleless in a warm clay tone, with a travertine splashback and brushed copper tapware. A chevron oak floor anchors the room.
Within The Space
Drift through the room — the small moments that hold it together, caught up close.

A Cook's Corner.
Where the herbs and copper land. The induction zone sits flush and the lacquer wipes back to clean in a single pass.

Brushed Copper.
A single brushed-copper tap over an undermounted basin, set against the warm grain of honed travertine.

Chevron Oak.
A wide-plank chevron oak floor laid edge-to-edge, catching the late afternoon sun beneath the clay run.

In Their Words
“The late sun does most of the work — and the room knows exactly where to put it. We cook in it differently now.”
